This was a spacious apt, large windows and good light and ventilation. When one gets a place with such good natural elements creating a beautiful interior becomes interesting. The basic concept of the house is to create spacious yet multifunctional living spaces. It was carefully planned to accommodate various activities. With two children in the house it also needed to be totally child safe. As you enter the living room you notice the large window with seating ledge on the right. The left side has a compact unit which accommodates tv, music system and some storage, yet doesn’t overpower the room. Sofas are large and comfy. The theme used in this interior echoes Art Deco adding elegance to the whole house.Furniture is with rounded corners with safety in mind, various textures very subtly displayed. All the elements such as colour's, pattern harmonies wonderfully with each other. The ivory and various shades of brown are displayed in the choice of wall colour, furniture, wall papers, and laminates. With the interesting play of colour and pattern, the interior as whole echoes Art Deco.The kitchen is cozy but a perfect example of ‘having a space for everything, and everything in its space’. It’s functional, attractive and a good example of the small space used wisely. The master bedroom follows the theme with its rounded cornered bed, spacious wardrobe. There is a comfortable work space for working from home. Dining area is compact, for four with and extendable table to enlarge it when needed. The guest room also doubles as play/ study room keeping in mind the growing needs of the little ones.A special mention, the little girl’s room with its brightly coloured wardrobe and storage shutters is one of the most cheerful rooms in the house. In addition, there is a lovely elephant mural painted on the wall adding an element of fun. This is a room any little girl will love.
